Welcome to the textile life cycle
TRD is active in the international market with its specialism: recycling of used textile. Textile that is no longer used in Europe is collected and given a new lease of life. It is sorted into five high-grade product categories and shipped to our customers on different continents.
Our daily efforts are put into supplying our customers with a good quality product, while also focusing on a sustainable future. Our method of working results in an optimal use of textile and means less pollution, less waste production and more recycling. Welcome to the textile life cycle!
Ever since its establishment in 2000 the company has focused on supplying superior quality products.
This is evidenced from the long-established relationships with our suppliers and customers.
Our success is based on many years of experience, team spirit and a no-nonsense business culture. TRD seeks to achieve a high customer satisfaction by focusing on four key principles: quality, service, price and continuity. To meet these high requirements our personnel is intensively supervised. The 45 specially trained employees see to it that all incoming materials are optimally processed. After processing the products are shipped around the world: to other parts of Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, South America and Russia. Through our built-up market knowledge we are able to respond effectively to local and cultural needs.
Products
The assortment is divided into five different categories:
- new clothes
- hardly worn clothes
- cleaning rags
- shoes
- recycling

Factories
The storage, transhipment and sorting warehouses, which are centrally located in Dordrecht and Hardinxveld on a 7-hectare site, are modern equipped and offer the ideal environment for an effective and efficient production process.
Specialist equipment is used to supply good quality products and work efficiently. This enables us to sort around 300 tonnes of clothing every week. Through this method of working we have become one of the largest companies in our sector.
The warehouses are favourably located near the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, and the nearby motorways offer good access to Germany and France. This allows us to respond quickly to our customers’ needs.
